Leeds museum galleries

In the afternoon we had the opportunity to look round the rest of the galleries. We saw amazing things!!

Leeds museum workshop

The children took part in a workshop - we prepared a body for embalming, made our own amulets, designed a new Egyptian God and looked at some scarab beetles.

Lindley class had a great day out at Leeds Museum. We saw many interesting artefacts including the 3000 year old mummy!

Dragon mania!

On Friday, we were lucky to have Harvey, the bearded dragon visit us at school. 

The children were all very excited. 

They had never seen a dragon before. 

He didn't look like the children thought he would! 

He didn't breathe fire and wasn't very fierce! 

We watched him carefully and drew pictures of him. Then we thought of some words to describe him.
